Mrs. Julia B. Wentland Cylka
Mrs. Julia B. Wentland Cylka, 86, of
1517 W. Dunham, died in her home Sunday of natural causes. She
was retired from the Studebaker Corp. and had also worked for
Wilson Brothers. Born on July 5, 1892, in South Bend, she lived
here her all her life. Mrs. Cylka first was married to Joseph L. Wentland,
who died in 1928. On Nov. 2, 1952, in South Bend, she married
Anthony J. Cylka, who died in 1976. Surviving are two daughters,
Mrs. Irene Wegenka and Mrs. Georgiana Cholaj, both
of South Bend; 10 grandchildren, and a brother, Edward G. Roytek
of Westland, Mich. Mrs. Cylka was a member of the Adoration
Society of the church and the Sacred Heart Association. She was a
life member of Our Lady of the Snows, Belleville, Ill
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Casimir Catholic
Church with Rev. Edgar Szymanski, C.S.C., assistant pastor,
officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends may
call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday in
the St. Joseph Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30
p.m. Tuesday.
