Mrs. Edmund Cytacki

February 11, 1918April 27, 1982

 

Mrs. Mary J. Cytacki, 64, of 20050 Brookwood Drive, died at 7:25pm Tuesday in St Joseph’s Medical Center, after a lengthy illness.  She had been a branch manager for First Source Bank for over 20 years serving at the Martin’s and the Lincoln Way West branches.

 

She was born February 11, 1918, in Detroit MI and had lived in the South Bend area most of her life.  On October 12, 1940, in South Bend, she married Edmund S. Cytacki who survives.  Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Judith Dickens of Toronto, Canada; two sons, Edmund P. of Minneapolis MN and Frederick J. of Garland TX; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Fodrocy of Edwardsburg MI and Mrs. Goldie Lanko of South Bend; and a brother, Julius Karacson of Monroe MI.

 

Services will be at 10am Saturday in Christ the King Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Fey, CSC, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.

 

Friends may call form 7 to 9pm Thursday and 2 to4 and 7 to9pm Friday in the Welsheimer North Chapel, 52803 US 33 N.  She was a member of the church, the Altar & Rosary Society of the church, the K of C Wives Club and was past president of the First Source Bank Women’s Club.  She was active and recognized for her outstanding contributions to the YWCA.
