Mildred Jean Daniels

WALKERTON - Mildred went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 22. She died of natural causes in her daughter's home. Millie was born to William and Henrietta McDonough, April 1, 1924. They preceded her in death as well as three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by three sisters, Doris (Art) D'agostino and Gert Donovan of California and Marion (Chris) Christopher of New Jersey. She married Fredric Daniels June 16, 1945. He preceded her in death January 21, 2001 after 57 years of marriage. Millie is survived by three children, Terry (Kris) Daniels, Phyllis (Bill) Hullinger and Constance Sult; seven grandchildren, Bill (Sherry) Daniels, Jim (Monica) Sult, Amy (Matt) Stoll, Chris Daniels, Chad Sult, Will (Jen) Hullinger and Kathy (Chuck) Cubine and two special grandchildren, Ryan (Angie) Blasko and Erin Blasko; 11 great-grandchildren, Emily, Andrew, Kierstyn, Katelyn, Elizabeth, Nichols, Brant, Felica, David, Ruth and Anna. Millie was a member of the United Methodist church in Walkerton where she sang in the choir for 60 years. She also taught Sunday school and led Sunday school music in her younger years. She was a member of the Ladies Circle, Countyline Club. She loved to play cards and bunco. For many years she square danced with the "Dixie Walkers. She regularly attended Real Services. As per Millie's wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held in the Walkerton United Methodist Church on October 2, 2009, visitation with the family will be at 1 p.m. and the services will begin at 2 p.m. EST, In lieu of flowers please make donations to the United Methodist Church Choir. Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
