Sister M. John Vincent CSC of the Sisters of Holy Cross and assistant superior at St. Mary’s Academy, Twyckenham Hills, died Sunday morning at the academy. She was born Marie Danley in Peru, Ind. in 1893. She received the habit in 1921 and made her profession of vows in 1923. She held a bachelor degree from St. Mary’s College and a master’s degree from the University of Illinois and had done post graduate work at the University of Notre Dame. She had been assigned to St. Mary’s Academy and St. Joseph Academy and St. Joseph High School prior to her current assignment. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. E. A. McNamara of Huntington.

 

The requiem mass will be offered in the chapel of Our Lady of Loretto on the St. Mary’s campus at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. today at the academy.
