Albert G. David, 82, of Berkley Circle, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after an illness at 5:50 a.m. on Wednesday, May 5, in St. Anthony Hospital, Michigan City, Ind. Mr. David was born on Jan. 8, 1917 in Mishawaka as the son of the late Kizer and Anna (Rizgallah) David.

On May 28, 1947 in St. Bavo's Catholic Church, Mishawaka he married the former Virginia Durnal. Mr. David is survived by his wife Virginia of fifty years and their two children, one daughter, Linda Maenhout of Mishawaka, and one son, Michael (Teresa) David of Monroe, Conn.; four grandchildren, Ann Maenhout of Mishawaka, Carrie Maenhout of Indianapolis, Ind., Emeric David and Marla David, both of Monroe; and by a sister, Mary Thibodeau of Mishawaka. Mr. David was employed by the University of Notre Dame for nineteen years as Food Service Manager retiring in 1984 and he was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, where a Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Robert Yast officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Contributions in Mr. David's memory may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 225 S. Mill Street, Mishawaka or to donor's choice.
