SOUTH BEND - Caroline E. Davidson, 69, passed away on
Friday, July 25th, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South
Bend. Caroline was born on July 30, 1938, in Uniontown, PA, as
the daughter of Russell and Betty (Baker) McCoy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Russell; a son, Geary;
and stepfather, Orville. On December 28, 1972, in Mundelein, IL,
she married Ray Davidson. Surviving Caroline are her mother,
Betty Christensen of Mishawaka; her husband, Ray;
daughters, Penny (David) Nye of South Bend, Cynthia
(Richard) Van Bergen of South Bend, Christine (Walt) Bohlmann
of Bristol and Angela (Dean) Schmidtendorff of Elkhart;
nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a sister, Cheryl
(David) Cochran of TN; and brothers, Duane (Carol)
Christensen of IL, Larry (Pam) Christensen of WI and Bruce
Christensen of NY. Caroline loved spending her spare time
reading, oil painting and shopping. She was a loving wife,
mother, daughter, grandmother and sister.
Visitation for family and friends will be
from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, July 28th, in the Hahn Funeral Home,
505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A private family service will take
place on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, in the Hahn Funeral Home. In
lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American
Heart Accociation - American Stroke Association, Memorial &
