Mrs. Madeline R. Davidson

May 2, 1898 - December 17, 1978

Mrs. Madeline R. Davidson, 80, formerly of 3214 Pleasant, died Sunday after a lengthy illness at the San Antonio Community Hospital at Upland CA.

She was born May 2, 1898, in Holland and moved to California three years ago form South Bend.  As Madeline Buysse in 1919, she married Walter Dewey Davidson in 1919.  He died in 1971.  Surviving are two sons, James C. of California and Walter D. of Norwalk CA; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Van Heck and Mrs. Martha Van Wynsberghe, both of South Bend.

Graveside services will be at 11am Thursday in the Chapel at the St Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery.  Rev. Robet Yast, pastor, of St Anthony de Padua Church, will officiate.

Friends may call from 7 to 9pm Wednesday at the Hollis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue.

Services for Mrs. Madeline R. Davidson, 80, a former South Bend resident who died Sunday in California, will be at 11am Thursday in the Chapel at the St Joseph Valley Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm today at the Hollis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave.  Among survivors is a sister, Mrs. Augusta Barber of Mishawaka.
