Mrs. Rose Marie (Keaton) Davis, 39,
beloved mother and sister, who resided on North Allen Street,
South Bend, Ind., passed away following an extended illness at
1:33 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27, at Hospice House of St. Joseph
County. On April 2, 1959, she was born in South Bend to the union
of Irene (Curry) Keaton and Tommy Keaton, Sr. She
was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Keaton, and by a
sister, Mary Keaton. Rose was a lifetime resident of South Bend,
and was a member of the Greater Holy Temple Church of God in
Christ.
She is survived by four sons, Tommy, James,
Evans and Brandon Keaton; father, Tommie Keaton, Sr.; stepmother,
Willie Mae Keaton; two sisters, Ruby Keaton and Irene McLeod;
two brothers, Tommy Keaton, Jr., and Charles Keaton; two nieces,
Tonya Denise Neely and Cary Williams; two dear
friends, Gloria Chambliss and Rita Talton, all of
South Bend; along with a host of nephews, friends and other
relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on
Friday, Oct. 2, at the Greater Holy Temple Church of God in
Christ. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may
call one hour prior to services at the church. Alford's Mortuary
is in charge of handling the arrangements.
