Funeral services for Sister Mary Carolita CSC, of the faculty of St. Mary’s College Campus School, who died Monday, will be conducted Wednesday in the motherhouse of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross.

 

Born Elizabeth Claire Davy in Oxnard, Calif. in 1920, she completed high school at the Holy Rosary Academy in Woodland, Calif., before attending the College of Wasatch in Salt Lake City. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1939, receiving the holy habit in 1940, and making her final profession of vows Aug. 15, 1945. Prior to her assignment in the campus school she taught at St. Bernard’s in Oakland, Calif.; Holy Rosary School in Idaho Falls, Idaho; and at Stella Marie School in Long Beach Calif. Survivors include a sister, Sister Mary Carmen CSC, also a teacher at St. Mary’s campus school. Friends may call in the convent parlor on Wednesday.
