SOUTH BEND - Verl G. Dawson, 93, of Miller's Merry Manor, Plymouth, formerly of South Bend, died at 8:35 p.m. Wednesday in the nursing home. Mr. Dawson retired from Bendix Corp. He was born Jan. 23, 1901, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.
He is survived by a son; three daughters; and several nieces and nephews, including Shirley DeMien of Bremen, Roena Yazel of Plymouth and Kenneth Wagner of North Liberty.
There will be no services or visitation. Burial will be at a later date in Riverview Cemetery. Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville, is in charge of arrangements.
