Frank DeBlase

SOUTH BEND - Frank DeBlase, 67, of 1214 S. Fellows Street, died at 9:25 p.m. Thursday in the Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac, after an illness of one and a half years. He was retired from Sample Street Wrecking Company. He was born May 3, 1905 in Chicago, and moved to South Bend in 1919 coming from Lake Geneva, Wis. He also had a summer home at Magician Lake, near Dowagiac. He is survived by six brothers, Edward, Michael, Samuel, August, Joseph and Steve, all of South Bend; five sisters, Miss Christine DeBlase, Miss Santina DeBlase, Mrs. Joseph Fotia, Mrs. Frank Fotia, all of South Bend, and Miss Mary DeBlase of Providence, R.I,

 

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Bilancio Guisinger Colonial Chapel.

Services for Frank DeBlase, 67, of 1214 S. Fellows Street, died at 9:25 p.m. Thursday in the Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Matthew’s Catholic Cathredal. Msgr. Stanley Monoski will officiate and burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Bilancio Guisinger Colonial Chapel. A rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
