Duane "Dewey" DeBlock, 50,
of West 8th Street, Mishawaka, Ind., died after an illness on
Monday, Aug. 19, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Duane was born on Feb. 8, 1952, in Mishawaka, as the son of Omer
and Riek (Bruining) DeBlock. Duane is survived by his
parents; three brothers, Henry DeBlock of Tampa, Fla., Ronald
(Debra) DeBlock of Mishawaka and Donald (Diane) DeBlock of
Osceola, Ind.; a sister, Roane (Phillip) Heston of
Mishawaka; and by five nephews, three nieces and one great-niece.
Duane loved to ride his bike, spend time
with his friends. He loved to fish and golf. Duane will be missed
by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 22, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street,
Mishawaka, with visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial
