MISHAWAKA - Wilbert "Willy" Frank De Geeter, 64,
passed away on Saturday, July 5th, in Memorial Hospital, South
Bend. Willy was born on February 24, 1944, in Mishawaka, to
Maurice and Louise (Van Driessche) De Geeter. He was
preceded in death by his parents, and by two brothers, Robert De
Geeter and Albert De Geeter. Surviving are two sons, Jeffrey
(April) De Geeter of Plainfield, IN, and Rick (Amanda) De Geeter
of Avon, IN; two grandchildren, Grant and Ian De Geeter; a
sister, Eleanor (Edward) Krizman of Granger; and a
brother, Delbert (Bernadine) De Geeter of Mishawaka. Willy
graduated from St. Joseph High School, South Bend. He was a
member of the BK Club and DeAmicis, both in Mishawaka. Willy was
an avid Cubs fan. Willy cared for and deeply loved his two sons;
his guidance and friendship with them will be greatly missed.
As per Willy's request, there will be no
visitation or services. Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street,
Mishawaka, has been entrusted with handling the final
arrangements.
