Earl A. DeGraff, 66, of Hepler Street, South Bend, passed away at 4:55 A.M. Friday, May 5, in Memorial Hospital. Earl was employed with Mishawaka Furniture for over eight years and then worked at the former Deck Manufacturing Company in Granger. He was born August 22, 1939, in South Bend, to the late Grant and Bessie (Mead) DeGraff, and had lived in this area all of his life.

 

Earl was married on June 12, 1965, in South Bend, to Virginia L. "Sis" (Ray) DeGraff, who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Virginia (Jeff) Bruce of Clifton, VA, a brother, Larry DeGraff of South Bend, and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Janet Damp and Kay Massengale, and two brothers, Carney and Ralph DeGraff, preceded him in death.

 

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 9, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday in the funeral home. Earl was a member of the Manechor Club, VFW, and the Democratic Club. Memorial contributions may be made to your charity of choice.
