MISHAWAKA - Irma L. DeGraff, 73, of Fountainview Place, died at 3:15 p.m. Friday in the nursing home. Mrs. DeGraff was a former employee of Uniroyal Plastics Co. She was born April 3, 1922, in Mishawaka.
On Oct. 21, 1944, in Mishawaka, as Irma Detert, she married William DeGraff. He died Aug. 13, 1990. She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Gregory of Bent, Ore., and Marlene Finnigan of Mishawaka; a son, Lawrence of Grand Prairie, Texas; seven grandchildren; a sister, Lois Eckmayr of Granger; and a brother, Melvin Detert of South Bend. She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, South Bend, and the Genealogical Society.
Private services will take place Monday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home. Cremation will take place, with entombment in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Emphysema Society.
