Indiana:  South Bend Tribune, Mishawaka Obituary, January 11, 1955.

Orin A. DeLong, E. Mckinley Highway, died at 8 a.m. today in his home after an illness of one year.  He was born in Marcellus, Mich., July 13, 1890, and came here 28 years ago from South Bend.  He married Miss Edna West in Mishawaka in 1916.  Mr. DeLong was a Ball-Band employee.

Surviving are his widow; two sons, Richard, of Mishawaka, and Staff Sgt. Kenneth, of the Ellington Air Force Base, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Guise, of Niles, Mich.; four sisters, Mrs. G. Ferdinand Martin, of El Monte, Calif., Mrs. Milo Anglin, of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Walter Forsberg and Mrs. Earl Gordon, both of South Bend, and 13 grandchildren.

Friends may call after noon Wednesday in the Hollis Funeral Home in South Bend until the funeral there at 2 p.m. Friday.  Rev. Sherman Nichols, pastor of River Park Church of Christ, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Valley memorial Park.
