Rebecca T. Denney, 29, of Shady Lane, Walkerton, Indiana, died at 4:49 p.m. Thursday, July 29, in Sr. Joseph Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Cebu City, Philippines on January 20, 1970 and had lived in this area for four years coming from Florida.

Rebecca is survived by her husband, Patrick M. Denney, whom she married in Walkerton on June 1, 1997, and their daughter Kali Denney. She is also survived by her father, Leon Tan Sr. of Los Angeles, California; three sisters, Beverly Ong of New Jersey, Bea Tan of Beverly Hills, California and Julie Ann Tan of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; and five brothers, Edgar Tan, Quezon City, Philippines, Frances Tan, Marlon Tan, James Tan and Leon Tan. Jr. all of Bacolod City, Philippines. She was preceded in death by her Mother Fe (King) Tan.

Rebecca was a loving wife and mother, with wonderful family values. She was a very giving person, and anyone who had the pleasure of her presence was touched by her generosity and kindness. Rebecca's days were spent giving care and joy to the elderly at Countryside Place Nursing Home and devoting all her time to family and friends. She will be missed and remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. till time of services at 1 p.m. on Wednesday August 4, in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka.
