CLARISE M. DHAENE

October 13, 1902 – September 15, 1996

 

SOUTH BEND – Clarise M. Dhaene, 93, formerly of St Johns Way, South Bend IN passed away at 3:25pm, Sunday, at St Joseph Care Center-West, South Bend,

 

Mrs. Dhaene was born on October 13, 1902, in Zuiddorpe, Holland.  She lived here for 82 years, coming from Canada.

 

She is survived by two daughters, Emma Ciesielski and Phyllis Rzepka, both of South Bend; two sons-in-laws, Casimer Ciesielski and Bernard Rzepka; five grandchildren, Pamela Horvath of South Bend, Dr. Carol Ciesielski of Chicago IL, Michael and Gary Rzepka, both of South Bend and Mark Rzepka of Buchanan MI; three great granddaughters, Angela Horvath, Bridget Murray and Stacie Rzepka; one great-great-grandson, two step great-grandchildren; three step great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Caesar Coppieters of Raymond Alberta, Canada.

 

On February 18, 1919, as Clarise Coppieters, she married Frank Dhaene, who preceded her in death on November 7, 1959.

 

Mrs. Dhaene was a member of St Stephen Catholic Church, Harvest House of St Adalbert’s Catholic Church and a volunteer for Real Services at Holy Family Catholic Church.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 8pm, today, at the St Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd, South Bend.  A rosary will be recited at 4pm, today, at the funeral home.  Services will be held at the St Joseph Funeral Home at 10am, Wednesday.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
