Jeffri Jacob Dhoore, 30, of Main Street, South Bend, Ind., died unexpectedly at 3:12 a.m. Sunday, July 18, in Memorial Hospital.

Jeff was born Sept. 15, 1973, in South Bend, to Francine K. (Harvey) and the late Rickey M. Dhoore, and was a lifetime area resident. He is survived by his mother, Francine K. Harvey-Arnold, and her husband, Mark Arnold of South Bend; one brother, George F. Dhoore; and his maternal grandfather, Frank M. Harvey of Pinellas Park, Fla.

Jeff was a supervisor for Professional Janitorial Service, Mishawaka, Ind. Jeff was a great animal lover and enjoyed anything to do with nature. He loved to go camping, and as an avid fisherman could often be found with a rod and reel in his hands. He was also a talented poet, and transferred this gift to composing and enjoying music.

Jeff was a student of many religions although he didn't belong to a particular church. He was very knowledgeable regarding Christianity, Judaism, Moslem, Buddhist and Taoism among many.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 22, in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., with Rev. Michael Johnson officiating. Cremation will take place at Michiana Crematory, South Bend.
