Sister M. Adela CSC, died Sunday morning in St. Mary’s Convent after a prolonged illness. She was born Mary Celeste Dinnen in Fort Wayne in 1886. She was educated in Fort Wayne and entered the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1907, received the habit in the same year, and making her profession of vows in 1912. During her community life she taught in Fort Wayne, and was superior of St. Vincent’s Academy in Logansport; Plymouth, and at Sacred Heart Academy in Fort Wayne. She was assigned to St. Mary’s College in 1934 where she remained foir reasons of health in 1953.

 

A requiem high mass will be offered at 6 a.m. Tuiesday in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may call in the convent parlor.
