SOUTH BEND - Services for Mary Ann Divine, 81, of 1353 E. Bowman St., who died after an illness at 6 a.m. Friday in her home, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hanley & Sons Funeral Home. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph County Heart Association or St. Joseph County Cancer Society.
Mrs. Divine retired in 1978 from Uniroyal. She was born Jan. 7, 1915, in South Bend. In November 1958, in Fort Wayne, as Mary Ann Greenwood, she married Harry R. Divine. He died February 1979. Surviving are two daughters, Rita J. Eslinger and Charlene A. Fain, both of South Bend; three sons, Robert E. of North Canton, Ohio, and Richard J. and Charles R., both of Mishawaka; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Thelma Greenwood of South Bend, Winifred Thompson and Eugenia Arata, both of Osceola. She was a St. Joseph County Republican Party precinct worker for several years.

Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. In November 1938, in Fort Wayne, as Mary Ann Greenwood, she married Perry R. Divine. He died in February 1979.
