MISHAWAKA - Edwin G. Doll, 88, of West Eighth Street, died at 4:54 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Hospital. Mr. Doll retired in 1967, after over 35 years of service. He was born March 22, 1905, in Mishawaka, and was a lifelong city resident. In September 1928, he married Henrietta Honold. She died May 22, 1952. Surviving are four sisters, Gertrude Doll, Eleanor Norris, Marie Housand, and Virginia Hurst, all of Mishawaka; and a brother, Bernard of Mishawaka.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Hahn Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church or any charity.
