WALKERTON - John F. Dominiack, 86, of Walkerton, IN passed
away Wednesday, July 16, 2008, in Rural Health Care,
Indianapolis, IN. Mr. Dominiack was born September 1, 1921, in
Brule Co., South Dakota to Michael and Mary (Pekarek)
Dominiack. On January 8, 1948, in Wolford, North Dakota, he was
married to the former Joyce Ellen White, who preceded him
in death on September 13, 1999. Surviving are sons, Jerry
(Connie) Dominiack of South Bend, Bob (Lorna) Dominiack of Koontz
Lake, Bill Dominiack, Larry Dominiack, Brian (Sue) Dominiack, and
John (Tammy) Dominiack, all of Walkerton; daughters, Carol (Mark)
Zellers and Sandy Swigart, both of Walkerton;
sister, Marlyis Chuter of Terrytown, LA; brothers, James
(Lois) Dominiack, Mick (Dorothy) Dominiack, and Kenny (Jerry)
Dominiack, all of South Dakota; 14 grandchildren and 22
great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents;
wife, Joyce; and daughter, Deanna. Mr. Dominiack was a
self-employed carpenter. He also was a U.S. Army veteran of World
War II and a member of the Walkerton American Legion.
Funeral services will be Monday at 6:00 p.m.
EDT at Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Friends may
call Monday from 4:00 p.m. EDT until the time of services at the
funeral home.
