Services for Sister M. Annice Donovan CSC, 88, who died Thursday morning in the convent,  will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Loretto Church and burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Friends may call call after 3:30 p.m. Sundayday in the convent parlor.

 

She was boen May 31, 1901, in Chatsworth, Ill. and entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on July 5, 1924. She was received as a novice on Jan. 6, 1925 and professed her vows on Jan. 6, 1927. She graduated from Illinois State Normal College in 1922. She received a bachelor of science from St. Mary’s College in 1942; her master’s degree in philosophy and, her doctorate, both from the University of Notre Dame. She taught at St. Joseph Academy in South Bend. From 1927 to 1941 she was assigned to St. Mary’s College, where she taught philosopy until 1969. From 1969 to 1970 she served as stall psychologist in the South Bend Public Schools and the Mental Health Clinic.
