SOUTH BEND - Birdie J. Dorman, 90, of Healthwin Hospital, died at 3:35 a.m. today at Healthwin Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Dorman was born July 19, 1904, in Berrien Springs and lived most of her life in this area.

n June 1940, she married Orville LeRoy Dorman. He died in 1981. Surviving are two daughters, Donna Rosemary Zimmer and Dixie Lee Schrader, both of South Bend; a son, John Vernon Zoss of Mishawaka; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. A daughter, Bonnie Simon, and a son, Lloyd Zoss, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
