Sister M. Fabian Dosch CSC

Sister M. Fabian CSC, 79, of St. Mary’s Convent, died Wednesday afternoon at the convent after a lengthy illness. As Elizabeth Magdalen Dosch, she was born June 21, 1899 in Washington, Ind. On July 1, 1922, she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross at St. Mary’s. She was received as a novice on Jan. 6, 1923, and made her final profession of vows on Aug. 15, 1925.

 

During her career, Sister Fabian taught in elementary schools in Elkhart and Crawfordsville, Ind. in Illinois, Texas and Pennsylvania and Utah. In 1933 she began working in accounting departments in hospitals in Utah and Idaho. Since 1968 Sister Fabian has live at St. Mary’s Convent. Surviving are a sister, Sister M. Rita Jane, CSC, of St. Mary’s Convent.

 

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Church of Loretta at St. Mary’s College. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Convent Parlors.
