Margery Julia Dosmann

Aug. 4, 1917 - Aug. 28, 2002

Margery Julia Dosmann, 85, of 13697 Butternut Road, Burton, Ohio, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, at home with her family.

Born in Cambridge, Mass., on Aug. 4, 1917, she was the daughter of Adelaide Stinson and James Doherty. She moved to the South Bend, Ind., area in 1934, and lived there most of her life before moving to Ohio three years ago.

She married Lucian Phillip Dosmann on Aug. 22, 1942, in the Notre Dame Cathedral, South Bend.

She was a full-time mother and devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. Her interests were antiques, golf, bridge, gardening and reading. She was civic-minded and known for her kindness and personal warmth.

She leaves three children, Paula Dambrauskas of Richmond, Mass., Barbara Kahn (David Kahn) of Burton, Ohio, with whom she made her home, and Phillip Dosmann (Shelley Hummel-Dosmann) of Milwaukee, Wis.; a sister, Helen Huster of South Bend; seven grandchildren, Todd and Lindsey Dambrauskas, Tim and Liz Kahn and Katie, Sarah and Ben Dosmann.

Margery was preceded in death by her husband, Lucian P. Dosmann; brother, James Doherty; and by a granddaughter, Lydia Dosmann.

A funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Christ The King Catholic Church. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Bubb Funeral Home, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka. Interment will be at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind.
