NEW CARLISLE - Ethel Marie Dove, 91, of New Carlisle, IN,
formerly of Lakeville, IN, passed away at 8:05 p.m. Saturday,
April, 7, 2007, in Miller's Merry Manor, New Carlisle, IN. She
was born on August 10, 1915, in Elnora, IN, to Levi and Grace (Wildman)
Faith.
On March 9, 1935, in Washington, IN, she
married William Charles Dove, who preceded her in death on May
21, 1968. Mrs. Dove is survived by a son, Jack L. (Barbara) Dove
of South Bend, IN; a daughter-in-law, Carol Dove of Plymouth, IN;
six grandchildren, Mike (Debbie) Dove, Sherry (Jim) Hevel,
Ronald (Marina) Dove, Kimberly Dove, Christine Roberts and
Julie (Mike) Tremaine; 18 great-grandchildren and one
great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by a son, Dean
Dove on March 30, 2002; a great-grandson, Larry Dove; four
sisters and five brothers. Mrs. Dove retired in 1976 from United
Foam after eight years of service. She attended Lakeside Baptist
Church in Lakeville.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Odon, Indiana. Rev. Richard Smith will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 2 to 8 p.m. today, April 10, 2007, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan St., Lakeville, IN. Contributions in memory of Ethel Marie Dove may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
