SOUTH BEND - Kenneth E. Downey married Catherine "Cathy" Murray on August 1, 1970, in East Jordan. He retired from Hill Truck Sales in South Bend, Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Downey of East Jordan; his son, Ernest E. Downey of Mishawaka, Indiana; and one sister, Vivian (Doug) Densel of Alabama. A memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2010, 11:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, East Jordan. Arrangements by Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc., East Jordan.
