Sister M. Alberic Doyle CSC

Sister M. Alberic, CSC, 84, died Tuesday, afternoon in St. Mary’s Convent after an extended illness. Born Mary Catherine Doyle in Covington, England, in 1875, she was the daughter of Lawrence Doule and Catherine Ryan Doyle. She came to the United States as a child and received her education in Massachusetts. Sister Alberic  entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1906 and received the habit of the order in 1907. She made her profession of final vows in 1912. During her community life she was stationed at various missions in the eastern and mid-western provinces. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Edward J. Finnerty and Mrs. John Leone, both of Quebec, and three brothers, Joseph H., Francis A. and Lawrence L., all of Massachusetts.

 

A requiem high mass will be sung at 6 a.m. Thursday in the Church of Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Friends may call in the convent parlors.
