Thelma (Mitchell) Dragovich, 73, died Friday, March 8, in her home in South Bend, Ind., after a strong battle with cancer. Thelma attended St. Joseph's Grade School, St. Joseph's Academy and St. Mary's College.

Thelma is survived by her beloved husband of almost 51 years, John E. Dragovich; her mother, Margaret Mitchell Giantomaso; four sons, Joseph, John Jr. (Amy), William (Kathleen) and Stephen; three daughters, Mary Beth (Claude) Marsolais, Lucille (Michael) Buckman and Anne; eight grandchildren; and by a brother, William (Clara) Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lucille (Henry) Baele.

Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, March 11, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Hill Street, South Bend. Family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. today, March 10, in the McGann Funeral Home, 2313 E. Edison Road, with a Rosary at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637-3437.
