Gail s. Dreibelbis, 85, of St. Paul's Retirement Community, died at 2:10 a.m. Thursday, March 7, in the retirement community. She was born on December 1, 1916, to the late Clara V. (Yoder) and Carl V. Shively. On May 2, 1937, as Gail Shively she married Stanley R. Perkins, Jr. who preceded her in death in 1965. On November 23, 1977 as Gail Perkins she married William I. Dreibelbis who preceded her in death in 1982.

Mrs. Dreibelbis is survived by a son, Don V. Perkins of South Bend; a granddaughter, Tristine Perkins of Indianapolis; four stepchildren; 23 step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Dreibelbis worked for 24 years at Memorial Hospital, South Bend where she was an Executive Secretary. She was a graduate of Mishawaka High School and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, South Bend, the Memorial Hospital Retirees Group and the SAGE organization.

Services for Mrs. Dreibelbis will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 11, in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., South Bend. Rev. David Doane of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will conduct the services. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday March 10 in the funeral home. Entombment will be in Riverview Mausoleum, South Bend. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 51900 Mayflower Road, South Bend, IN 46628.
