Robert H. Drover

November 16, 1906 – March 21, 1974

Robert H. Drover, 67, of 24499 Ind. 23, died today in St Joseph Hospital after a two month illness.  He had retired in 1971 from the Western Indiana Aggregate Co.

Born November 16, 1906, in south Bend, he had lived here his lifetime.  On September 30, 1939, in South Bend, he married Elizabeth Rupel, who survives.  Also surviving are three sons, Lawrence of South Bend, Robert of Phoenix AZ and Gregory of Durango CO; a daughter, Mrs. Carol Ann Gray of Baltimore; five grandchildren; a brother, Carl of South Bend, and a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Dubert of Battle Creek, MI.

Friends may call form 2 to 9pm Friday in the McGann Funeral Home.  Services will be at 11am Saturday in St Patrick’s Catholic Church.  Rev. Richard Kennedy, CSC, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.  The rosary will be recited at 7:30pm Friday in the funeral home.   Memorial contributions may be made to St Patrick’s Church.
