Donald H. Dubie

SOUTH BEND - Donald H. Dubie, 62, of Flint, Mich., died of an illness on Saturday in Flint Osteopathic Hospital. Mr. Dubie retired from General Motors Ternstedt Division in 1993, after 39 years of service.

 

He was born Feb. 28, 1931, in South Bend, and lived in Flint 39 years. On May 3, 1951, he married Lucille Hamilton. She died in May 1990. Surviving are four daughters, Cindy Clark of Flint, Debbie Dubie-Barbary of Howell, Mich., Pamela Pahl of Grand Blanc, Mich., and Darcie Dubie at home; eight grandchildren; a sister, Violet Overton of Sellersburg, Ind.; three brothers, Francis of Mishawaka, Charles of South Bend and Stephen of Champaign, Ill.; and a friend, Patricia Fuller.

 

Mr. Dubie was a member of American Legion Post 151, Auto City Eagles, Aerie 3485, and Moose Lodge of Harrison, Mich. He was a Marine veteran.

 

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Sunset Chapel of Reigle Funeral Home, Flint. Burial will be in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Flint. Friends may call after 8 a.m. today in the funeral home, where memorial services will be conducted by Auto City Eagles and Aerie 3485 at 7 p.m. today.
