Donald L. DuBois

Donald L. DuBois, 57, of 514 S. Burson St., Winamac, Ind., passed away at 1:45 p.m., Monday, in his residence. He had been ill for 17 months.

 

He was born on June 29, 1939, in Mishawaka, Ind., and was the son of Clyde and Tressa V. Wilder DuBois. On April 17, 1972, in Winamac, he married Martha (Marty) Fugate, who survives.

Mr. DuBois was employed as a new car and reconditioning operator at Shephard's Sales from 1951 to 1979. He also had been a tow truck driver. He resided in Winamac since 1951, coming from Mishawaka.

 

Surviving with his wife, are a daughter, Tressa A. Mackey of South Bend; two sons, Charles B. DuBois of Felton, Del. and Delois E. DuBois II of LaPorte, Ind.; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Melvina Foltzs of South Bend, Ind. and Ethel Forizs of Cassopolis, Mich.; three brothers, Zale DuBois of Leiters Ford, Ind., Paul DuBois of Peru, Ind. and Kaye DuBois of Star City, Ind. He was preceded in death by a brother, Delois DuBois and a sister, Maxine Bauer.

 

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, in Frain Mortuary, 305 E. Main St., Winamac. Rev. Thelmon Fugate and William Mathys will be officiating. Burial will be in the McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Winamac. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, and after 8 a.m., Friday, in Frain Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pulaski Memorial Hospital Hospice.
