Joseph Hodge DuBois

NORTH LIBERTY - Joseph Hodge DuBois, 76, of Riley Road, died at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, after an illness. Mr. DuBois retired in 1985 from AM General Corp., South Bend, and was a former horse show judge. He was born Sept. 26, 1919, in Reading, Pa., and lived in North Liberty since 1966.

 

On Aug. 16, 1968, in South Bend, he married Susan L. Spenner. She survives with a daughter, Danielle Yockman of Hawaii; two grandchildren; and a sister, Denise Hannan of South Bend. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of U.S. Cavalry Horse Association and the Masonic Lodge, Lakeville.

 

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place. Memorial services will be at a later date. Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Home Care, South Bend, or any charity.
