Oral L. Dudeck

Oral L. Dudeck, 80, of East 350 North, Rolling Prairie, Ind., passed away at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, in her home. Mrs. Dudeck was born on Oct. 22, 1917, in Three Oaks, Mich., to John and Alice (Long) Grover, and had been a lifelong area resident, living in Rolling Prairie since 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Hazel DeLancey; and by two brothers, Don and Lawrence Grover.

On Nov. 25, 1939, as Oral L. Grover, she married William Dudeck, who also preceded her in death on May 4, 1980. She was the Wills Township Trustee and a Woman's Leader for the LaPorte County Farm Bureau. Mrs. Dudeck was a member of the Farm Bureau of LaPorte County. Mrs. Dudeck is survived by her daughter, Sharon L. (John, Sr.) Bealor of Rolling Prairie; two grandchildren, John (Jane) Bealor, Jr., of Rolling Prairie and Laura (Raymond) Eggert of Mill Creek, Ind.; two sisters, Arcile Struglinski of Prescott, Ariz., and Jessie Ekstrom of Oregon; and by a brother, Rev. Arthur Grover of Spanaway, Wash.

 

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert Street, New Carlisle, Ind., with Rev. Leonard Kronkowski officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Ind. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home. Kuristen S. Hernton
