Ida Belle Dudley

July 26, 1892April 18, 1965

 

Mrs. Ida Belle Dudley, 72, of 717 Clinton St., died at 3:15pm Sunday in Memorial Hospital after a year’s illness.

 

She was born in Hartford City on July 26, 1892, and came to South Bend 47 years ago from that city.  Her husband, Burt Dudley, survives.  Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Fred Burner, of South Bend; two sons, Harl of Cassopolis, and Earl of Granger; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Palmer and Mrs. Lottie Zummwalt, both of Hartford City, a brother, Claude Blake, of Logansport, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

 

Friends may call in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home from 7pm today until 11:30am Tuesday when the body will be taken to the Calvary Baptist Church where services will be held at 1:30pm.  Rev. Noel P. Irwin, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in St Joseph Memorial Park.  Pallbearers will be Lloyd Kline, Harry Kelsey, Garst Parrott, Marvel Raker, George Billey and George Seifer.
