SOUTH BEND - Otto Ellis Dunn, 86, of
23742 Adams Road, died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday in Memorial
Hospital. Mr. Dunn retired in 1972 from Bendix Corp. after 31
years of service. He was born March 20, 1908, in Cicero, Ind.,
and lived in South Bend since 1937, coming from Cicero.
On June 14, 1937, in Martinsville, Ind., he
married Velma Edith Anderson. She survives with two sons,
Daniel J. and Dallas J., both of South Bend; seven grandchildren;
11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lucy Edwards of
Loleta, Calif., Pauline Kindred of Martinsville, and Doris
Grooms of North Carolina; and a brother, Floyd of
Wickenburg, Ariz. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church,
Masonic Lodge 74, Martinsville, and Order of Eastern Star Valley
Chapter 594.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in
Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in St.
Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to
6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be
