Harley A. Dunnuck

May 18, 1897March 29, 1982

 

Harley A. Dunnuck, 84, of the Cardinal Nursing Home, died at 9:20am Monday in the nursing home.  He had been in the purchasing department at Studebaker Corp, Greenwood’s, X-Cel Controls of Mishawaka, and X-Cel Steel Fabricators.

 

He was born on May 18, 1897, in Bremen and was a lifetime area resident.  On August 24, 1918, in South Bend he married Mildred Turner, who survives with a sister, Mrs. Barbara Gaylor Seaton of Granger.

 

Services will be at 11am Saturday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William.  Charles Hahn, former reader of the First Church of Christ Scientists, will officiate.  Cremation will take place at the Michiana Crematory.

 

Friends may call from 10:30am until services on Saturday in the funeral home.  He was a former first reader, a member of St Joseph Lodge 45 F&AM and a 50 year member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of the First Church of Christ Scientists.
