SOUTH BEND - Services for Martha Irene Durski, 85, of Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal, who died at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Kaniewski Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday.
Mrs. Durski was a seamstress for White Uniform Manufacturing. She was born May 23, 1908, in South Bend, and was a lifelong resident.
On April 15, 1925, in South Bend, as Martha Paskiet, she married Stanley W. Durski Sr. He died Jan. 6, 1963. Surviving are a daughter, Joyce Bowers of North Liberty; three sons, Stanley W. Jr., Sylvester R., and Norman M., all of South Bend; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eleanor Rupert of Cassopolis, and Anna Houck of Goshen; and two brothers, Joseph Paskiet of South Bend, and John Paskiet of Buchanan. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 624 Ladies Auxiliary.
