Clem Dygulski

September 23, 1911 – May 11, 1983

 

Clem (Babe) Dygulski, 71, of 1234 N. Huey St., died at 5:30pm Wednesday in Veterans Administration Regional Hospital I Indianapolis after an extended illness.  He was a former driver and salesman for Drewry’s Brewery.

 

He was born on September 23, 1911, in South Bend and was a lifetime area resident.  On November 30, 1940, in South Bend, he married the former Lucille Voorde.  She survives with a daughter, Mrs. Mary Jo McCoy of South Bend; a son, Larry of South Bend; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Marie Szekely of South Bend, and a brother, Henry of South Bend.

 

Services will be at 11am Saturday in Holy Cross Catholic Church, with Rev. James R. Trepanier, CSC, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

 

Friends may call form 2 to 9pm Friday in the Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7:30pm Friday. 

 

He was an Army veteran of WW II.  He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8748 and a former member of the 1st District Democratic Club.
