James L. Dynak, 59, of Generation Drive, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 11, in Hospice House, South Bend. James was born on Jan. 28, 1940, in South Bend, to the late Lucille and Lewis Dynak.

On Dec. 16, 1999, James married Carol Gensinger in South Bend. She survives along with a son, Jeffery Dynak of Arlington, Texas; two stepdaughters, Shelly Stout and Tammy Terry, both of Walkerton, Ind.; and a stepson, Tim Cox of New Granby, Conn. James had one grandchild and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Patricia (Tom) Bolinger of South Bend; and a brother, David Dynak of South Bend. James was employed by Steel Fabricating and Meyers Hardware.

There will be a memorial service held at 3 p.m. on Saturday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, with Sam Oliver officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
