Bernice Dyszkiewicz, 80, of Langley Drive, South Bend, Ind., died at 9 a.m. on Friday, March 24, in her granddaughter's residence. She was born on Sept. 3, 1919, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

As Bernice Paluszewski, she married Chester Dyszkiewicz, who preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Anthony M. (Carolyn) Dyszkiewicz of South Bend; one granddaughter, Dawn Warren of South Bend; and two great-grandchildren, Christopher Leonhard and Ryan Warren.

Family and friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday in the funeral home, with burial to follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery
