Cecil R. Eberhart, 207 S. St. Peter St., died at 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Hospital. He was born in Mishawaka Jan. 30, 1898. Mr. Eberhart was an employee of the South Bend Park Department. Surviving are a son, Robert, of South Bend; a sister, Mrs. Pearl McCloud of Napanee, Ind.; and a half brother, Walter Diemer, of South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Hickey Funeral Home until the funeral there at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in City Cemetery. Mr. Eberhart was a veteran of World War I.

Pallbearers will be Stanley Goard, Hobart V. Summy, Clarence H. Matthews, Elmer Hollenbeck, William L. Lockman and Byron E. Smith Jr.
