South Bend – Grace K. Eberhart, 90, of 908 E. Cedar, died at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday (June 28, 1994) at J. D. Home Care after an illness.
She was born Sept. 23, 1903 in Williamsport, Pa. As Grace K. Heilecher, she married Mahlon G. Eberhart Sr. on June 11, 1924 in Williamsport. He died July 22, 1985. Surviving are one daughter, Janice Spirito of New Buffalo, Mich; two sons, Wayne C. Eberhart of Bremen, and Dr. M. Gilbert Eberhart Jr. of Mishawaka; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation prior to the 7 p.m. Thursday memorial service at Bubb Funeral Chapel North, Mishawaka. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
Mrs. Eberhart was a homemaker and a member of First English Lutheran Church.
Memorials may be given to the Northern Indiana Chapter of Alzheimer’s Association.
