MISHAWAKA - Sister M. Charline Edecker, OSF, 91, of Our Lady of Angels, Saint Francis Convent, died at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday in her residence.

Sister M. Charline was born July 26, 1903, in Cairo, Ill., as Dorothy Edecker. She entered the convent Nov. 18, 1933, and received her Franciscan habit on June 29, 1934. She was assigned as an accountant in hospitals in Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. Her last assignment was in the business office of St. Francis Convent. She retired in 1984.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in the convent chapel. Burial will be in St. Francis Convent Cemetery. A wake will be at 7 p.m. Friday in the convent chapel. Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
