SOUTH BEND - Helen V. (Nellans) Edmondson, 76, of Fairington Circle, died at 7 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center of natural causes. Mrs. Edmondson was born July 26, 1918, in Mishawaka and was a lifelong area resident.
On June 15, 1935, in Mishawaka, she married Howard R. Edmondson. He died Dec. 12, 1971. Surviving are two daughters, Judie A. Klingerman of Mishawaka and Karolyn K. Strong of Goshen; a son, Robert E. of South Bend; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Thelma Pearson of New Albany, Ind.; and a brother, Robert Nellans of Mishawaka.
She was a member of Twin City Baptist Church and Jolly Sixties of the church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Fund.
