Mildred Pinney Edwards

March 12, 1911-Jan. 9, 1994

SOUTH BEND - Mildred Pinney Edwards, 82, of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of South Bend, died Jan. 9 in Walter O. Doswell Memorial Hospital, Sun City. Mrs. Edwards was a former secretary for Indiana & Michigan Electric Co., South Bend. She was born March 12, 1911, in Auburn, Ind. On Oct. 10, 1935, she married Wilbur L. Pinney. He died in 1972. On Feb. 6, 1981, she married Jule Tate. He died in 1984. On Sept. 19, 1986, she married L.G. Edwards. He also preceded in death. She is survived by a daughter, Janet Williams of Commerce, Texas; two sons, James L. Pinney of Arlington Heights, Ill., and Jerry Pinney of Prospect Heights, Ill.; a stepdaughter; a stepson; nine grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dale Norris of Columbia City, Ind.

Memorial services were held Wednesday in Willowbrook United Methodist Church, Sun City. Maryvale Mortuary, Phoenix, handled arrangements. Additional memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 6 in the Chicago Temple, Chicago.
