George J. Eichorst

George J. Eichorst, 70, of 65303, U.S. 31 S., Lakeville, died at 2:20 p.m. Monday in South Bend Memorial Hospital where he had been admitted earlier in the day. He was an employee of the Reliable Dairy in South Bend, from which he retired five years ago. He was born June 11, 1896, in Lakeville. On Oct. 18, 1920, in South Bend, he married the former Genevieve Kollar, who survives. Other survivors are five sons, Clarence and Donald, of South Bend; Vernon, of Mishawaka; Eldon of Ligonier, and Richard, of Elkhart; a daughter, Mrs. Georgia O’Connor, of North Liberty; 13 grandchildren; a brother, Paul Eichorst, of South Bend, and four sisters, Mrs. Rienold Tetzlaff, Mrs. Clara Paege and Mrs. Ida Henkle, all of South Bend; Mrs. Emma Rexstrew, of North Liberty.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Harden Memorial Chapel, Lakeville, where services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Wayne Divine, of the Lakeville Bible Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Lakeville Cemetery.
